It offers excellent protection when transporting your iPad and does not get in the way because you need to take the unit out of the case to use it. In fact I've already dropped mine and as far as I'm concerned the case paid for itself 12x over cause my iPad is in perfect shape. Thanks Hard Candy!

Hard Sleeve iPad 2 + 14Keith SJune 7, 2010Very nice product. The cover allows good protection of the iPad when closed up, interior provides good protection too. Construction and how it is put together is of very good quality. Rubber bumpers inside are a good idea, and I would like to have seen the bumpers have a bit more support in holding or "locking" the iPad in place somehow. In other words, the iPad is steady in the bumpers when the case is lying flat but, if you are in a chair and go to hold the case at an angle the iPad can "pop" out or "slide" out. That being the only reason the case did not get 5 stars. But, I think the true purpose of the case (protection and portability) is very much accomplished (It is like carrying a small day-planner around). I would by this product again.

Hard Sleeve iPad 2 + 14Highlander 1590June 4, 2010I travel by plane 3 or 4 days a week and need a quality case that can provide solid protection for my Ipad. It also has to be a case that will fit in my laptop bag. This case really delivers! The reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it could use 2 things that would make it perfect. A hard plastic shell underliner between the padding for a more solid protective barrier and a handle on the spine to make it easer to carry. I have looked at many cases for the Ipad and this is an excellent blend of protection and portability.

Hard Sleeve iPad 2 + 13FreemyMay 30, 2010I bought this case to determine if it might be suitable for many users at my company. It does provide very good protection while zipped up. It is excellent if you plan to remove it from the holder to use it. It is NOT secure enough to use like a book because it would inadvertently flip out if you folded the cover back. Depending on how we deploy the iPad it would be a good protective choice for remove and use, better than most out there. For a open and use as a book, it is not so good.

Every time I set the case down the tabs seem to get caught. I did figure out the optimal place to put the tabs to minimize this, but they do seem like they could be shorter. Great product otherwise!
