Because it is one of the only cases that allows you to have a skin or shell on your iPad and still be able to fit in the case. The other cases out are made to fit iPad only sans skin/shell. The rigid backing and the bubbles provide extra protection. Only request? More colors!

It protects the iPad better than other cases, it's design is modern and stylish and the build quality is really great!! I don't understand why people think the rubber feet should hold the iPad in place... I like how The feet protect the corners and add extra stability when it's in the case... This case isn't intended to be used while unzipped and people don't seem to get that. I wish that hard candy could get their products in stores because they def. stand out from the competition!
