Product Reviews for iPad Stylus

iPad Stylus5AnonymsDecember 13, 2010I draw for a living and have done so for over 40 years. This is the thing we've been waiting for, fellow illustrators, animators, et al. Basically, it's your fingertip mounted on a barrel so that you can emulate drawing with a pencil, pen, etc. PROS: Emulates a thick marker tip, looks nice, and does the job CONS: Emulates a thick marker tip (relies on software in app you use to alter tip size and all the other controls you normally have with your selection of drawing and painting utensils). Kind of heavy (but not impossible even for an arthritic hand like mine) Cap does not sit on other side of instrument while using (thus risking you losing it when you put it down). Expensive (... God forbid you should lose this thing. For most working artists, we don't have the income that can dismiss such a loss as just annoying. We are frequently broke and between freelance gigs and can't afford this price for such a basic if it gets lost or stolen). -------------- WISHLIST: * Interchangeable tips * Thinner head/tip * Lighter in weight (for RSI sufferers especially - I know: & I both have RSI and work in the health care field re ergonomics and HCI) * Registration and insurance (similar to what is done for bicycles) * Partner with app makers to fuel development of the apps that will make this thing uber rockin'
iPad Stylus5Shelly WyattDecember 12, 2010This stylus is awesome and I would highly recommend it to any iPad user. I have been looking for a stylus for a while and am so glad that I waited for this one. What I particularly like is being able to use the stylus to mark PDFs in my PDF app (iAnnotate). But the stylus is also great for games. The only problem, as noted in other reviews, is what to do with the cap when using the stylus. Since it doesn't fit over the top of the opposite end, I am always very cautious about what to do with the cap when it's not in use.
iPad Stylus5JuliaDecember 9, 2010One of the best I've used. It needs to be able to attach the cap for the end you are using though.
iPad Stylus5Perspik8iousNovember 26, 2010hey just click on the specs tab above to see how to change refill. It's a standard Parker part. Nice tool. I highly recommend.
iPad Stylus5JamesNovember 12, 2010This is a very nice addition to my iPad. Very well constructed and nice weight. It does need a pocket clip. It was well worth the price.
iPad Stylus5TuncChicNovember 7, 2010I got to admit, I'm a pen collector. This pen has a nice balanced weight in hand. The pen works good as well as the stylus part. My only question is: "Where do you get refills."
iPad Stylus4JohnNovember 4, 2010Received the stylus/pen today and it is nice..just 2 things. 1 - as someone else mentioned the caps don't fit over the opposite end. 2 - No pocket-clip. Kind of makes is hard to carry. Still - a great find and glad I bought it ASAP.
iPad Stylus5DavidNovember 2, 2010The Hard Candy Stylus is way better than anything else i've tried. Must be that the conductivity is so good, because it hardly requires any pressure on the screen so it moves very smoothly. I can even hold it sideways as if I was drawing with charcoal. Now I just want a case that will hold the sylus as well as the iPad.
iPad Stylus4BresNovember 1, 2010Just got mine over the weekend. The stylus and pen work great-- have been waiting for a combo like this since the iPad was released. My only complaint is that the caps over both the stylus and pen don't fit over the opposite end when you pull it off and "recap" the pen. It wobbles then typically falls off when using. A bit of a design flaw, but a great product otherwise. Your mileage may vary.
iPad Stylus5RCPOctober 27, 2010I just received my stylus and I love it. It Has a very retro look but is super easy to use and works great on my iPhone 4. The pen glides smoothly and writes great. Thank You!
